Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Solution Architect to lead solutioning across Application Management Services (AMS), Greenfield/Brownfield Implementations, and SAP Upgrades (ECC to S/4HANA and others).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP"s technical and functional landscape, strong presales experience, and the ability to design cost-effective, scalable solutions tailored to client-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Delivery Planning
Define end-to-end SAP architecture for AMS, implementation, and upgrade projects.
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and cost-effective SAP solutions.
Develop service delivery models for AMS engagements including ticket categorization, SLAs, and governance models.
Design transformation roadmaps for clients moving from ECC to S/4HANA or performing system consolidations and technical upgrades.
Presales & Bid Management
Lead the solutioning and proposal creation for RFPs/RFIs related to SAP services (AMS, implementations, upgrades).
Work closely with sales and bid teams to develop winning strategies, effort estimation, pricing models, and value propositions.
Conduct client presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs for stakeholders.
Technical Leadership & Governance
Provide strategic input and governance for SAP delivery projects.
Define best practices, reusable assets, and accelerators for AMS and upgrade engagements.
Lead architecture review boards and participate in quality assurance for ongoing projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role.
- Proven experience across SAP AMS, greenfield/brownfield implementations, and technical/functional upgrades.
- Strong functional and/or technical background in modules such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Basis, Solution Manager, SAP PI/PO, and Fiori.
- Hands-on experience in developing transition plans, support models, and upgrade methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology and ITIL-based AMS delivery.
- Experience with cloud hosting (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP) and integration architecture is a plus.
