Mulesoft Developer Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Mulesoft Developer to join our team, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying enterprise integration solutions. This role requires expertise in building and managing APIs and integrations using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• API Development: Design, develop, and test APIs and integrations using Mule 3 and Mule 4. This includes creating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• API Specification: Utilize RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) to define and document APIs, ensuring clear contracts and consistent designs.
• Java Development: Leverage your strong Java programming skills to build custom components, data transformations, and business logic within Mule applications.
• Integration: Implement various integration patterns and connect systems using a wide range of MuleSoft connectors, including databases, SaaS applications, and messaging queues (e.g., JMS, JDBC).
• Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues, and provide ongoing support for deployed applications.
• Best Practices: Follow Mulesoft best practices for security, scalability, performance, and error handling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mulesoft Developer, with hands-on experience in both Mule 3 and Mule 4.
• Proficiency in designing and developing APIs using RAML.
• Strong background in Java development, including core Java concepts and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Mulesoft's Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
• Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP), integration patterns, and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Experience with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
