Job Description
- Job Description: Hitachi Solutions is seeking a talented individual with strong experience in deploying and managing applications and infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. The ideal candidate should have expertise in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift, as well as familiarity with DevOps tools like Git and cloud-native technologies. Additionally, the candidate should possess skills in automating tasks using AWS-native tools, implementing security operations, and ensuring automated backups and recovery processes. A good understanding of native AWS services such as EC2, EBS, ECR, S3, and Transit Gateway is required, along with excellent troubleshooting abilities. Responsibilities include automated provisioning of AWS infrastructure through Terraform scripts, automated deployment and management of applications, code versioning using Git, CI/CD processes via Jenkins, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift, creation of security groups and IAM policies, automated backups and recovery, handling patching activities, upgrades, and maintenances, as well as the flexibility to work on integration products and weekends on rotation basis compensated with weekdays off. Qualifications: - BE/B.Tech in Computer Science - 6-8 years of experience with cloud services, including at least 2 years of administration on AWS Additional Information: Candidates are advised to beware of scams during the recruitment process.
