AWS Engineering Manager @ Globallogic

Job Description

As an AWS Engineering Manager at our company, you will lead a high-performing cloud engineering team. Your expertise in AWS architecture, security best practices, and software development will be crucial in driving cloud migration projects and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Your passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on AWS will be instrumental in this role. - Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and services on AWS. - Ensure best security practices, IAM policies, and compliance measures are followed for AWS security and compliance. - Strategize and execute large-scale migrations from on-prem or other cloud providers to AWS for cloud migration leadership. - Guide a team of cloud engineers, fostering innovation and best practices for team leadership & mentorship. - Drive automation (IaC, CI/CD) and cost-efficient cloud solutions for automation & optimization. - Work with product, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud strategies with business goals for stakeholder collaboration. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.) for AWS expertise. - Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for cloud-based applications for software development. - Experience with IAM, KMS, security groups, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001) for cloud security. - Proven experience leading cloud migration projects for cloud migration. - Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc. for CI/CD & DevOps. - Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog for monitoring & logging.,
