Job Description
- At QpiAI, we are at the forefront of discovering the most optimal AI and Quantum systems across various industries including Life sciences, Healthcare, Transportation, Finance, Industrial, and Space technologies. Our team is dedicated to building a full-stack Enterprise Quantum Computer with integrated Quantum software and Quantum Hardware solutions. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Characterization Engineer to join our innovative research and development team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in quantum measurements, electrical engineering, and materials science, with a specific focus on characterizing quantum devices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments to evaluate the performance of quantum devices, particularly superconducting qubits. Requirements: - Hold an MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a specialization in quantum mechanics or quantum technology. - Proficiency in designing and executing experimental setups, conducting quantum measurements using platforms like superconducting qubits, and a strong skill set in cryogenic systems and microwave electronics for superconducting qubit device characterization is desirable. - Develop and execute experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, quantum state, and process tomography. - Possess knowledge and a deep understanding of circuit QED, error-correction schemes, particularly in superconducting qubits. - Demonstrated success in projects involving superconducting materials and devices. - Maintain and enhance cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure precise and dependable measurements. - Familiarity with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools. - Previous publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at conferences within the field of quantum technology would be advantageous. - Experience in writing analysis reports to support the definition of DoE and improvement plans for experimental procedures is a plus. - Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
