Access Global Group is seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with hands-on experience to join our team in a full-time role, PAN India- Hybrid.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on configuration and integrations with Guidewire, including but not limited to PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter
- Be involved in designing and building capabilities/services in a continuous delivery model on a Guidewire cloud software as a service platform.
- Partner with leads and architects to help establish a technical vision and deliver innovative capabilities which are consistent, maintainable, and highly scalable for various commerce experiences.
- Work within a microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Work in distributed/cloud-based environments.
- Use data structures, algorithms, and architecture patterns.
- Define solutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Use modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
- Experience with data storage designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
- Deliver software in a Scrum of other agile development processes/methodologies.
- Perform technical code reviews and pair programming.
- Partner with other teams to ensure the service ecosystem is loosely coupled and scalable.
- Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)
- Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
- Travels as needed for the role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
- Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Existing associate or above certifications in Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter);
- Guidewire certifications preferred - with aspirations to achieve addtional professional certification
- PolicyCenter (PC) required, BillingCenter (BC) and/or ClaimCenter (CC) configuration
- Product model design
- Experience: 5-8 years of overall progressive experience in software engineering
- Guidewire Insurance Suite experience, including Guidewire Development, Guidewire Product Implementations, Guidewire Insurance Suite Products, Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire LOB (Umbrella, General Liability), Guidewire Studio, GOSU Scripting
- Must be highly competent in these technology areas: Java, Javascript, and SQL
- Possess deep knowledge of and experience with Guidewires InsuranceSuite products
- Java/J2EE, Python or NodeJS
- REST Webservices
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms less technical people can understand
