ROLE DESCRIPTION
Summary: This role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions, specifically leveraging the functionalities and integration capabilities of the Guidewire Cloud Platform. The architect will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, robust, and secure InsuranceNow implementations within a cloud environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and design InsuranceNow implementations.
- Lead technical solutioning across InsuranceNow and Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) services.
- Design and manage integrations with 3rd-party services (e.g., AVS, Payment, SMS, ISO RaaS).
- Experience leading multi-state rollouts and complex product implementations.
- Familiarity with ISO integration, SMS services, and payment gateway configurations.
- Provide technical leadership across configuration, data migration, and form management.
- Define and guide DevOps practices using CI/CD and IaC tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and product teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to delivering best practices.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow.
- Strong background in InsuranceNow architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and services like Cloud Rating, Cloud Rules, Integration Gateway.
- Deep understanding of rating, product configuration, forms (Docorigin, Exstream), and data migration.
- Hands-On experience with Cloud Rules, Cloud Rating, GWCP Services, ISO Rating as a Service, Data Services, SMS Service, Payment Services, Verification Services (AVS)
- Rating with Guidewire configuration experience
- Open Text experience
- Experience with AWS or Azure-based cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in Java, XML, and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
