Position: Principal Engineer- Civil & Structural
Work Location: Bangalore, India
Education: B.E / B. Tech
Experience: 12+ Years of Experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures.
- Develop detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).
- Conduct site investigations, assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Oversee the design and detailing of structural components, including supports, frames, and foundations.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks.
- Proficiency in civil and structural engineering software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).
- Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).
- Experience in the design of industrial structures, including those in chemical and oil and gas plants.
