Sr. Test Engineer (Cypress) - CodeCraft Technologies Sr. Test Engineer (Cypress) Skills: Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer specializing in automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing with tools like Cypress, Selenium, and Appium, along with expertise in API testing. As a creative engineering company, we value innovation, collaboration, and an automation-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality QA outputs across manual and automation testing activities.
- Engage with clients daily through stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other collaborative sessions.
- Manage manual and automation testing efforts to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Address client queries and concerns effectively, ensuring satisfaction.
- Keep stakeholders updated on work status through clear and regular communication.
Desired Profile:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Automation Testing using Cypress (mandatory), Selenium, and Appium.
- Proficient in JavaScript (mandatory) and Core Java for developing automation scripts.
- Solid experience in API Testing (manual + automation) using Postman and RESTAssured.
- Familiarity with frameworks and tools like TestNG, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, and BDD practices.
- Skilled in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or TestLink.
- Extensive knowledge of QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and capable of managing projects independently.
- Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Demonstrates an automation-first approach and KPI-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills (Good to have):
- Experience with QMetry automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Flutter app automation.
- Familiarity with Low Code/No Code automation tools.
- Experience in testing cloud-based applications or IoT devices.
- Exposure to testing AI/ML models.
