Job Description

JD For Informatica Developer:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
Analyze source systems, define transformation logic, and create data mappings and process flows.
Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data quality issues.
Collaborate with database administrators, data architects, and QA teams to ensure data integrity and optimal system performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including data flow diagrams, mapping documents, and deployment instructions.
Support data migration, data integration, and business intelligence initiatives.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter in a development role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
Experience with performance tuning of Informatica mappings and sessions.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools (e.g., UC4, Autosys, Control-M) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, etc.).
Knowledge of other Informatica products such as IDQ, MDM, or Cloud Data Integration.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
