Job Description
About the Role
As a Software Engineer (Java), you will leverage your expertise in advanced Java programming to develop high-performance backend solutions. You will ensure the seamless integration of real-time technologies, asynchronous programming patterns, and multithreading techniques to optimize performance across platforms. Your role will involve working with cloud infrastructure, including AWS services like EC2, SQS, SNS, and Lambda, while also collaborating on database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. You will contribute to all phases of development, focusing on delivering scalable, efficient, and secure applications for both desktop and mobile platforms.
What youll do Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and work with cross functional teams to meet project requirement.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs.
- Implement security and authentication measures to protect application data.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker.
- Manage database interactions using ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with front-end systems.
- Strong database skills, including designing schemas and writing optimized SQL queries for relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and version control tools like Git.
- Proficient in working with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
