Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python (Django) and experience building scalable, distributed systems using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Redis and AWS messaging services like SNS/SQS.
You will play a key role in designing and developing core backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components that power our applications and support millions of users.
Location: Hyderabad
Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure APIs (REST & GraphQL) using Django and Django REST Framework.
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions.
- Integrate and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery and Redis.
- Implement event-driven communication using AWS SNS/SQS.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure scalable deployment on AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
- Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations.
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define and implement new features.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Python and Django.
- Strong knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience with GraphQL (e.g., Graphene-Django).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and inter-service communication.
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and as a message broker.
- Proficiency with AWS services, especially SNS, SQS, EC2, RDS, S3.
- Experience with Celery for task queue management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
