Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Understand business requirements and convert them into test cases/test scenarios.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Perform API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools) for REST/SOAP services.

Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.

Log detailed bugs, issues, and observations using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla or similar.

Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and team agile ceremonies.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.

Support development and execution of automation scripts using tools like Selenium, RestAssured, or similar

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks specially Selenium, RestAssured or Playwright is good to have.

Basic scripting in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on RESTful API testing and database validation using SQL. You will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications.
