About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Copy Editor with exceptional language editing skills to join our Editorial service teams (Journals and Books). In this role, you will ensure all content aligns with our quality standards by refining and polishing written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and consistency. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the clarity and impact of our
publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and voice.
- Conduct language edits to improve readability, flow, and coherence.
- Verify facts, cross-check references, and ensure the accuracy of content.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and stakeholders to meet content goals and deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in formatting and style across all materials.
- Exceptional command of English with strong grammar and language editing skills.
- Familiarity with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or MLA.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
