Job Description
Location: Bangalore, Hybrid Work mode
1 month to Immediate Joiners preferred
Must have skills: Playwright +Javascript/Typescript, Performance Testing, Unix/Linux
Essential Skills:
- Good to have experience of working in a telecom organisation/domain
- Should have strong experience of testing (manual and automation)
- Architect and implement robust test automation frameworks (Playwright)
- Should have strong experience of developing and updating automation frameworks using playwright / Javascript or Typescript
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements and ensure code quality
- Maintain and optimise test environments to achieve maximum test coverage
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools
- Mentor QA engineers and contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes
- Experience of working in Agile / CICD environment
- API testing working experience
Key Responsibilities:
- To work in a challenging Agile environment with a focus on automation
- 8+ years of professional experience in manual and automated testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Javascript/typescript or a similar programming language
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- To lead the team of automation and manual testers
- To design and develop new frameworks and update existing ones using Playwright / JS/TS
- E2E test management for a particular product or application (strategy, planning, risk management, reporting etc)
- Design, update manual test cases and guide the team as required
- To support the API testing
- Working with the QA transformation team to develop new ideas and solutions for the QA service transformation (e.g. new Gen AI solutions)
