Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
- Design, implement and maintain Java-based/Angular applications that can be high-volume and low-latency
- Analyze user requirements to define business objectives
- Envisioning system features and functionality
- Define application objectives and functionality
- Ensure application designs conform with business goals
- Develop and test software
- Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
- Create detailed design documentation
- Propose changes to current Java infrastructure
- Develop technical designs for application development
- Develop multimedia applications
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Manage Java and Java EE/Angular or React application development
- Develop documentation to help users
- Transforming requirements into stipulations
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
Requirements
- 5 + years of strong hands on development experience
- Develop application code and unit test in the Rest Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot, Java-J2EE and related open source technologies
- Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest NodeJS based Front End Technologies like React Native
- Well versed with Cloud technologies - Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, AWS
- Experience with RESTful services
- Responsible for leading design & development of micro-services built using Sprint-boot on Cloud.
- Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
- Ensure high performance applications which are secure and scalable.
- Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, JS and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation techniques
- Integrate content feeds via API, JSON, XML, and RSS from both internal and external sources.
- Hands-on design & development experience on Cloud. Exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp
- Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. Testerman, JUnit, Karate, Cucumber, Jest, Jasmine Test runner framework (Ex. Cucumber, Selenium)
- Performance Test using Dynatrace
- Document application components for support and training materials for Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
