Job Description

Company: Som Imaging Informatics Pvt. Ltd. (Somnetics, Kolkata)

Job Title: Senior PHP/Laravel Developer

Location: Kolkata (Work from Office)
Experience: 5-7 years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
Develop APIs and microservices for scalable systems.
Handle databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and caching/search (Redis, Solr).
Deploy and manage apps on AWS (EC2, SQS, SES, etc.).
Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Support front-end integration with HTML and JavaScript.
Use Git, JIRA, and Confluence for development workflow.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and Node.js (optional but a plus).
Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Solr.
Proven experience working with AWS services: EC2, SQS, SES, etc.
Sound understanding of microservices architecture.
Solid skills in HTML, JavaScript, and modern web standards.
Familiar with Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
Excellent communication skills; experience working directly with clients.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to clean, maintainable code

Qualifications:

B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science or related fields.
