Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java, Microservices & Cloud
Location: Chennai, India (Hybrid Model) (Prefers only chennai based profiles )
Department: Alternative Fund Services Hedge Fund Services (Caplink)
Experience: 7 to 9 years

What Youll Do
Build, enhance and scale backend APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
Develop modern, testable frontend components in Angular
Deploy & manage microservices in multi-zone Kubernetes environments
Enable cloud-native capabilities: scalability, observability, and high availability
Implement secure access features with Spring Security
Work with SQL Server, ORM (Hibernate), stored procedures, and performance tuning
Collaborate across teams and participate in code reviews, unit testing and CI/CD automation
Must-Have Skills
57 years of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful API experience
Hands-on in Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD
Angular development experience with Jasmine & Karma
Strong in Hibernate, JPA, multithreading, design patterns
Database proficiency SQL Server, performance tuning
Unit testing with JUnit and integration testing
You Are Someone Who:
Enjoys working on cloud-based microservice architectures
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment
Is passionate about clean code, test automation, and scalability
Takes initiative and ownership for application performance and quality
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of relevant software development experience
