Position - Java backend developer

Experience - 57 Years Experience

Location - Chennai (Preferred only chennai profiles)

Notice period - Immediate to short joiners (Serving np)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to design scalable solutions
• Design and develop backend systems, business logic, and GUI components
• Write clean, maintainable, and performance-optimized code using Java and J2EE
• Work on Oracle PL/SQL and performance tuning
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers
• Conduct unit testing, bug fixing, and ensure code quality through peer reviews
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in the team
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong programming expertise in Core Java (1.8+) and J2EE (EJB, JDBC)
• Good understanding of OOPs and RDBMS concepts
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 10g/11g and PL/SQL performance tuning
• Working knowledge of application servers Tomcat / WebLogic
• Familiarity with Quartz Scheduler, XML, JUnit
• Build tools like Maven or Ant, IDEs like Eclipse
• Experience in Agile or iterative development environments
  

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Java Swing, Hibernate
• Knowledge of StarTeam, Quality Center
• Exposure to financial services domain
