Cloud Migration Tech Lead @ Locuz

JOB SUMMARY

Help customers successfully migrate to the cloud. With expertise in AWS and cloud technologies, the role involves managing all technical aspects of the migration process, including planning, deployment, automation, and security. The Tech Lead ensures that cloud environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance throughout the migration journey.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customer Success Expertise: Strong background in customer success with a focus on customer-centricity, including experience with both help desk and business teams to drive satisfaction and resolve issues effectively.
• AWS Expertise: Extensive knowledge of AWS services, with expertise in build, deployment, automation, networking, and security within cloud and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• AWS Migration Hub Matilda Experience: Proven experience in utilizing AWS Migration Hub and Matilda to manage cloud migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Project Planning and Execution: Skilled in managing cloud projects from inception to completion, including detailed planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables.
• Deployment Configuration: Strong experience in deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure to meet organizational requirements and ensure seamless operation.
• Stakeholder Management: Expertise in managing relationships with technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment between teams to meet project and operational goals.
• Escalation Handling: Proficient in managing and resolving customer issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Technical Acumen: Solid technical knowledge with the ability to understand and solve complex cloud-related issues, driving both operational success and strategic improvements.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Promote continuous learning and skill development for team members in the cloud domain.
• Oversee the troubleshooting of post-migration issues and provide solutions to any cloud-related problems.
• Contribute to the ongoing optimization and performance improvement of the cloud environment after migration.

Educational Requirements and Certifications:

• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture, migration, and implementation projects.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Architect certification
