Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS Cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, integrating cloud services, and ensuring the reliability of our production environments.

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Architect and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.) for high availability and scalability.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
Work with DevOps tools (Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Ensure adherence to security best practices on AWS (IAM, VPC, security groups).
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, caching systems (Redis, Memcached).
Hands-on experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline).
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Vue.js) is a plus.
Understanding of application security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and authorization mechanisms.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile team environment.
