Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services
Analyze and review patient medical records and physician documentation
Ensure claims comply with UAE medical insurance standards (DHA/DOH/MOH)
Manage claim submissions, rejections, and resubmissions
Coordinate with physicians and billing teams for clarification and compliance
Participate in audits and ensure adherence to coding quality and accuracy
Stay updated with international and local coding guidelines and payer policies

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or Allied Health
25 years of experience in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
Knowledge of UAE insurance coding standards (DHA/DOH/MOH) preferred
CPC / CCS certification is an added advantage
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills
