Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Delivery to lead and manage end-to-end US healthcare medical coding operations. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing large teams, driving productivity and quality, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth delivery aligned with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day medical coding operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Monitor key metrics including productivity, quality, TAT, and cost control
- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage managers, team leads, and coding teams
- Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and training initiatives
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational guidelines
Process Improvement
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement
- Implement process enhancements to reduce rework and improve output
- Leverage tools, systems, and automation to streamline operations
Quality & Compliance
- Define and monitor KPIs related to quality and compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Handle client escalations, audits, and quality reviews effectively
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales, Training, and Quality teams
- Support workforce planning, capacity management, and forecasting
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports on productivity, quality, cost, and performance
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelors degree required
- Masters degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding Operations
- Minimum 2 years at Manager designation for Manager role
- Strong experience in team handling, delivery management, and process improvement
