Job Description
Fluke is looking for an QA Engineer to join our SaaS development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and development testing. You will work closely with Software Developers and other QA engineers in small scrum team to deliver the highest quality product in a timely and cost-effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to participate in requirements, design, review meetings and evaluates requirements testability
- Design test strategies, develop test plan and execute manual test cases to ensure top notch product quality and service delivery
- Carry out automated test development using existing automation framework and enhancements to the framework as needed
- Report defects in JIRA with all the relevant detail, work with development and design teams, for resolution of the defects and participate in root cause analysis
- Responsible to monitors software defects, creates test results and defect tracking reports
- Responsible for maintaining software testing results and process control documentation
- Test web applications in multi-platform, cross-browser development
- Ability to communicate better and work collaboratively with the team
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field with 2-3 years of professional experience in testing web and desktop applications
- Clear demonstrated skill set with manual testing and on functional automation
- Experience in performance, API, Database and Integration testing would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of software development lifecycle processes (SDLC), procedures, and Software Quality Assurance methodologies
- Experience working in an environment that practices agile development
- Experience in product verification, software quality assurance, or test engineering.
- Experience working alongside software engineers as part of an agile development team
- Knowledgeable about current software testing tools and methodologies
- Experience testing applications/services running on cloud environments .
- Experience working in Git for managing source code
- Experience working in JIRA
- Motivated, organized and committed to continuous improvement and learning new tech stack
