Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. This role is open to career gap candidates who are passionate about restarting or building their career in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through manual and/or automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand software requirements and functional specifications
• Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity Testing)
• Identify, log, track, and report defects using defect-tracking tools
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Participate in test planning, review meetings, and status reporting
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases
• Maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Software Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Understanding of Manual Testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools (JIRA or similar added advantage)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Database Testing (preferred)
• Automation knowledge (Selenium) is a plus, not mandatory
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility Criteria:

• Any Graduate (BE/BTech/BSc/BCA/MCA or equivalent)
• Career gap candidates are encouraged to apply
• 03 years of experience in Software Testing or related field
• Willingness to work from Chennai location
• Immediate joiners preferred
