Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in AWS and serverless technologies to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of Java, AWS services, and modern front-end frameworks. You will be a key contributor in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth of our technology platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions for serverless application components, integrating them with other AWS services.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces, focusing on user experience and accessibility.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, Java technologies, and front-end frameworks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Java development.
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS services, including:
- EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC.
- Strong understanding of Java frameworks and technologies, such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of front-end development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate).
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (ECS, EKS).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress).
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization of Java applications and Lambda functions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
