Job Description
We are looking for AI Software Factory Lead!
We are building a business management / ERP-style software platform and want to fundamentally upgrade how our engineering teams build software.
We are looking for an AI Software Factory Lead who can design and implement a controlled, production-grade AI coding environment where software is no longer written primarily by humans line-by-line, but generated, reviewed, improved, and validated through a structured AI-driven workflow.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will not only define the architecture and operating model, but also help build the first working system and train our teams to use it effectively.
What you will own
- Design and implement our AI coding workflow within the first 90 days
- Build a reliable environment for AI-assisted code generation, evaluation, correction, and continuous improvement
- Define the architecture, guardrails, review flow, testing strategy, and deployment logic for this system
- Work hands-on with real repositories, tools, prompts, specs, and engineering workflows
- Train and mentor engineering teams to work effectively in an AI-first development model
- Act as the cross-team technology lead for multiple software teams
- Help move the organization from classic development to a spec-driven software factory model
What we are looking for
- Strong software engineering background with experience across frontend, backend, databases, cloud, CI/CD, testing, and architecture
- Proven experience building or leading AI-native software development workflows, agentic coding systems, or code-generation/evaluation pipelines
- Experience with systems where AI can generate, test, assess, refine, and ship code in a controlled way
- Ability to combine hands-on execution with leadership, training, and architectural thinking
- Strong understanding of software quality, security, workflow design, and developer productivity
- Experience introducing new engineering practices across teams, not just inside a single squad
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment where tools and best practices evolve quickly
Success in the first 3 months
- A working AI coding workflow is designed and operational
- Initial guardrails, evaluation flow, and testing logic are in place
- The first teams are actively using the system on real development tasks
- A clear roadmap exists for scaling toward a higher-autonomy software factory model
Ideal profile
This role is ideal for someone who has already moved beyond AI as a coding assistant and has real experience building a structured environment where AI becomes part of the engineering production system itself.
