• As a Stewarding Supervisor or Executive, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the stewarding department in a hospitality or food service establishment

Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this position:

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Equipment and Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance, cleaning, and proper storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies
• Sanitation and Hygiene: Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards by implementing and enforcing proper cleaning procedures and practices
• Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and other food service areas
• Operational Support: Collaborate with other departments, such as the culinary team and banquet operations, to provide timely and efficient support for events, functions, and daily operations

Provides overall direction of the staff and ensures the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property. The Steward Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen areas, exhaust hoods, equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned and sanitized in an efficient and timely manner.
