To support the Credit Control team by both analysing and accessing the credit risk of our Distributors and Customers globally and generating key metric performance reporting.
What you will do
Assessing the creditworthiness of our potential & existing Distributors and Customers
Monthly credit risk reporting to Management
Providing support to the Credit Control team
Preparation and reporting of the actual and forecast DSO calculation on a monthly basis
Assisting in day-to-day tasks to ensure that SLAs are delivered within the Credit Team
Completing initial checks on Distributor and Customer applications to establish eligibility and early-stage creditworthiness
Assessing the creditworthiness of current partners to determine the level of risk
Accurately reporting on findings following investigations of credit applications
Assessing the quality of credit proposals and providing feedback
Contributing to improvements to processes and policy that balance risk with customer service and flexibility
Maintaining the appropriate levels of risk within the business by completing on going risk reviews of our current portfolio of Distributors and customers
Supervising ongoing credit reviews, handling new business requests, and monitoring for and reporting trigger events, promptly escalating any potential risks
Preparation of scheduled and ad hoc credit reports covering exposures and credit risk developments in line with internal procedures
Participation in audit preparations and addressing audit queries in a timely manner
Overseeing AWS Marketplace Accounts, including but not limited to, allocations, credit/bad debt provisions & reconciliations
What you will bring
MBA in Finance qualification / masters in commerce qualification
Previous Credit Risk Experience
Strong technical credit analysis and research skills (including financial statements analysis)
Completing and analysing credit reference agency reports
Experience of reconciling customer accounts
The ability to meet deadlines and understand changing priorities throughout the month
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a simple and meaningful way.
Ability to plan-ahead to ensure reviews are completed within agreed timelines and urgent transactions are prioritised.
Professional level in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
