Role: Senior Specialist-Credit Syndication
Business: Credit Syndications
Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking

Job Description & Key Accountabilities
- Origination, structuring, negotiation & execution of transactions across loans / bonds / structured debt / distressed debt transactions etc
- Deep network and established relationships with potential borrowers, issuers & investors
- Build and maintain independent & extensive engagement with the senior most levels of clients and key decision makers, including Promoters / CEOs / CXOs / CIOs etc
- Work with the team in preparation of teasers, pitch books, information memorandum, management presentations, financial models and other deal related presentations & notes
- Tracking business news / industry journals / rating releases / Bloomberg / MCA etc. for sighting potential origination opportunities
Candidate Profile / Skills
- Deep understanding of loan, debt capital markets, private debt & distressed debt market in India, including prevalent structures / regulations etc
- Strong awareness of market trends and underwriting appetite in order to originate the right kind of transactions
- Possess maturity in communication skills to hold conversations with senior levels of clients (Promoter/CXO/CFO level)
- Recent experience in origination & execution of Private Debt / Distressed Debt transactions with local & global private debt platforms will be advantageous
- Sound Fundamentals on Accounting including reading & interpreting balance sheets, Financial Modelling etc
- Soft skills:
- Self-motivated and proactive team player with entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent client relationship building and management skills
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills, with an ability to think out of the box
- Delivering within expected tight timelines will be a perennial ask
