A team leader, or supervisor, is a professional who oversees and manages a team of employees, ensuring that the employees are motivated and complete their assigned projects on time. Team leaders create plans and strategies to guide their teams and use metrics to track progress. Their duties include setting the teams daily objectives, training new staff members and motivating them to perform efficiently.
