: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead for our Continuous Engineering Team. This role requires a deep understanding of software development, maintenance, and operational excellence in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, PostgreSQL, and AWS, along with a proven track record in leading teams to deliver continuous improvements and support for complex software systems. Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Ensure the cryptocurrency wallet's backend systems are robust, scalable, and secure. Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and incident response to maintain high availability and performance. Technical Expertise: Hands-on involvement in architecture, design, and development. Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product management, security, and other engineering teams to align continuous engineering efforts with overall business objectives and product roadmaps. Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology, blockchain, and financial services. Advocate for and implement innovative solutions that enhance product features, user experience, and security. Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of Java applications. System Integration: Oversee the integration of Java applications with other systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange. Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Qualifications: Strong experience as a Java Developer with significant hands-on experience designing and building Java-based applications. Expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks. Good knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Apache Kafka for building event-driven architectures and real-time data processing. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, preferred) to deploy scalable and portable Java applications. Any Redis cache would be preferred. Familiarity with database design, SQL (PostgreSQL), and NoSQL (MongoDb, Cassandra) databases. Very good experience in setting up and implementation of CI/CD pipeline using Maven, Ant, bitbucket/Git, JUnit, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven track record of supporting scalable, high-performance, and reliable Java. Exposure to Web3 and Crypto preferred.
