Job Description

The Business Intelligence Group is a team of 8 members, we are located in Frost & Sullivan, Chennai. Our team is responsible for extracting company business-related numbers from our internally used systems and report them to the leadership and management teams in the form of dashboards. We primarily use data from SQL database and use SSRS as our reporting tool. Overview The role requires us to quickly learn the existing architecture and work with the technical lead and the team manager by providing new or improvisation ideas on data extraction and representation. The team is also in the process of exploring new tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau etc. so this role will require a good amount of technical and creative knowledge of how to use these tools in our reporting. Responsibilities Key Skills: T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI Experience/ Technology Skills 3 to 5 years of experience MSBI. Strong working knowledge of MS-SQL, Stored Procedure, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS and. SSAS Experience in Database design and Integration with SQL Server Experience in Performance tuning on SQL Server Experience on creating Tabular / Matrix Reports in SSRS. Experience on creating the Power BI dashboard reports Analyse and create complex SQL and SSIS packages as needed to support new and evolving data integration projects and data extracts needed for further processing in Data Analytics Participate in production support and code deploymentRelease process Good understanding on Data Warehouse/ Dimensional Modeling / OLAP Cube Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX) Strong technical and analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of application architecture Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded Develop excellent quality content Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience Qualifications Were looking for candidates who - Education UG :B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization PG :MCA in Any Specialization Personal Skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills. Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
