Job Description

The primary role is to review team activities like journals and reconciliations and scheduled and reporting activities. Ensure they are met the agreed Accuracy standards. Helping the team in resolving their queries. Driving continuous improvements.Pre requisites for Role RequirementCandidate should have acted as account reconciler for one or more of balance sheet categories for minimum 3 to 4 yrs. The candidate should possess good accounting knowledge related to various balance sheet accounts with an eye to detail.The candidate should be analytical to help the team on open items resolving, suggestions for improvement and adding to overall health of the process.Operations Process RelatedWork in a R2R portfolio which involves good understanding of accounting concepts. Key responsibilities will include Prepare and Review of below activities:Journals in ERPVarious categories of account reconciliationsPrepare and Review reconciliationsOpen items resolution and commentary for EffectivenessScheduled and reporting activities requiring analysis and researchInteracting with the clients to resolve queries via email and phone and deliver on tasks.Fixed Asset activitiesAdditionsRetirements and AmendmentsTransfersMonitor Close FA books and Run depreciationOperational DeliverablesConduct internal reviews with key stakeholders onshore and offshoreReview processes for deficiencies and implement better controlsUnderstand and drive the process and preprocess training needs to up skill peopleResponsible for open item resolutionPreventive corrective plans leading to enhanced quality of deliveryDive Best Practices Team at onshore offshore Qualifications BCOM
