Location: Gurgaon (5 days working)
Job Role:
As a AWS DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for implementing application solutions both in the cloud as well as participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the DevOps space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and Automating AWS Infrastructure: The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: They will collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Infrastructure Automation: The role involves automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and other tasks using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security and compliance of AWS environments, adhering to banking industry regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Analysing and resolving complex software and infrastructure issues.
- Collaboration: Working closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Performance: Monitoring the performance of AWS systems and ensuring they meet the requirements of banking applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Mentoring and Support: Guiding and supporting junior team members.
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Familiarity with banking industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- AWS Expertise: Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and other relevant services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Packer.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Networking and Security: Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Banking Industry Experience: Experience working with financial institutions or in the banking industry is highly desired.
- Understanding of Financial Systems: Knowledge of financial systems, applications, and processes
