Skill Required Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 5+ years experience with Linux-based infrastructure (preferably RedHat systems). DevOps Engineer or similar role experience. Proficiency in Docker/Podman and cloud deployment technologies. Proficient in Python (familiarity with GoLang and Ruby advantageous). Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices. Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot (a plus). Proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues. . Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services. Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies. Openness to learning new technologies. Knowledge of JIRA administration (beneficial). Proficiency in configuration and build tools like Bazel, Jenkins, etc. Familiarity with repository management tools like Git, BitBucket, etc. Excellent debugging skills/strategies. Responsibilities Understand existing applications, configurations, build strategies, and tools. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Docker containers. Implement automated processes for deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Docker into development and deployment pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Docker containers and orchestration. Continuously improve containerization strategies for enhanced efficiency and security. Document containerization processes and maintain version control.
