Job Description

To plan and ensure execution of the day to day activities pertaining to the department Preventive maintenance schedule, Predictive maintenance schedule, breakdown maintenance & Overhauling for all the Mechanical Equipment Turbine HP / LP Heaters, PRDS, Deaerators, condenser, PHE, Ejector, steam piping's & supports, misc. valves, Cooling towers of All 6 Units. To plan these works without affecting the generation. Optimum utilisation of available resources (manpower, materials and machinery) for the jobs as planned above; obtain necessary equipment isolations and ensure closing the isolations after the job completion. To ensure supervision of critical jobs related to above mechanical equipment on a day-to-day basis. To identify and issue and monitor spares for the jobs on day-to-day basis. To collate and update equipment history in Maintenance Management system on day to day basis. Ensuring reliability and continuous availability of all mechanical equipment of Turbine HP . LP Heaters, PRDS, Deaerators, condenser, PHE, Ejector, steam piping's & supports, misc. valves, Cooling towers
