Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• As a Automation Testing Specialist , you will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications
• This role requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Key Responsibilities:Test Planning:Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and user stories
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional specifications
• Test Execution:Execute functional tests to validate that software applications meet specified requirements
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality
• Defect Identification and Reporting:Document and report defects with clear steps for reproduction
• Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution
• Automation:Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Execute automated tests as part of the testing process
• Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the quality assurance team
• Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality
• Continuous Improvement:Provide input into the improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in functional testing
