Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing professional with mixed experience in setting up assembly lines for a greenfield project and third-party manufacturing. The objective is to set up a hybrid manufacturing process by setting up an in-house manufacturing facility and leveraging the expertise of the Contract Manufacturing Vendors.

Task Involved:

• Develop and implement a manufacturing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business strategy
• Set up and manage a new greenfield manufacturing facility
• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
• Ensure that all manufacturing activities meet the company's quality standards
• Manage the manufacturing budget and ensure that costs are controlled
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process
• Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team
• Represent the manufacturing function to other departments and stakeholders

Desired Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge in setting up production lines, Capacity planning, and identification of tools, jigs & fixtures.
• Exposure to manufacturing layout design and Industrial Engineering for Greenfield Projects.
• Exposure to the latest manufacturing processes, including production planning, supply chain management, quality control, and lean methodologies.
• Identify the right technology and equipment based on capacity, demand, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate vendors for contract manufacturing for a specific product or Process based on their technology, capacity, reliability and long-term suitability.
