Job Description

Summary Of The Position This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a business function called Sales Enablement (SE). The function will support our company at a very exciting time of growth, helping us lay down the foundations for a new five-year plan to accelerate the growth of this already highly successful business. Sales enablement is the process of providing our sales organization with the information, content, and tools that will enable them to sell more effectively. As we scale our business, grow our customer base and the number of services each customer takes from us, there will be an increasing need to support our sales organisation with efficient processes and access to data and insights. As a Desked Based Account Manager, you will be assigned to customer accounts and will be expected to 1) Build & maintain strong relationships 2) Manage ongoing services and identify any potential new sales opportunities and 3) Retain current revenue. You will also be assigned to the. group of Sales and Account Managers, providing them with the support needed to drive new sales and business development. You will be expected to become familiar with PMCs customers and be able to deal with certain requests either directly or via the Account or Sales Managers. Key Accountabilities Primary Responsibilities Serving as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer accounts and building strong, long-term relationships to sustain the current business we are getting and along with that Identifying additional sales and service growth expansion where possible Regular cadence meetings with the Client to review account performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase client satisfaction and retention Good understanding of client contract terms and the associated commercials Ensuring that RPI increases are applied in a timely manner as per the contract terms Driving the contract renewals with the support of the Account owner Engaging with the internal stack-holders for the required support when needed Keeping customers updated with PMC marketing materials Being active on social media to promote PMC-generated marketing materials Maintaining Data Accuracy in the CRM tool Capturing relevant meeting and account activity within the company's CRM including contact details, forecast dates, and managing opportunities Gather learnings from the sales processes, capture the experience and feedback into improving the process and sale material Secondary Responsibilities Working with the Sales Enablement function to support their BAU when needed (holiday cover/urgent requests, etc). These activities will cover, Sales data accuracy, billing queries from clients, ad hoc reporting on sale data, etc Market research on companies existing and new to support competitive sales pitches Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, customer service, sales operations/project management support, or a related field, preferably within the IT industry Skills and Experience | Essential Proven track record of managing and growing corporate client relationships Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients at all levels Commercial acumen Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently Proven experience of using the CRM tools. Skilled in managing CRM pipelines, tracking orders, and proficient in forecasting, budgeting, and planning through Excel macros and CRM Tool Prepare and present reports on account status, insights, and service enhancements to both clients and internal teams Strong appetite and aptitude for performance and excellent self-management are required. Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams Demonstrate ability to work quickly, respond to urgent, unanticipated requests, and manage ambiguity. Highly structured, with an interest in the areas of documenting, designing, and operating business process Be able to work well alone and with cross-functional business teams Personal attributes Proactive, enthusiastic and a willing member of the team Clean discipline and conduct records in previous experience Good communication skills Relevant experience in handling sales and administration activities Dynamic, persuasive presence with outstanding communication skills and ability to drive outcomes across levels and teams
