Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a talented individual with expertise in Jira administration, Confluence, and project management within the banking sector. As a Jira and Confluence Administrator cum Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our project management tools and ensuring seamless collaboration among team members working on banking projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, permission schemes, workflows, and plugins configuration.
  • Customize Jira projects, boards, and workflows to align with project requirements and team workflows.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Jira and Confluence usage, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and implement customized solutions in Jira and Confluence.
  • Facilitate project planning, tracking, and reporting using Jira dashboards, reports, and Confluence pages.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within Jira and Confluence environments.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to streamline communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in project management activities such as resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the use of Jira and Confluence to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Jira and Confluence administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, particularly in the banking domain.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Atlassian tools administration is advantageous.
