Job Description
We are seeking a proficient SAP B1 Implementation Manager with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading end-to-end SAP B1 implementation projects and managing IT operations within manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all SAP B1 implementation projects from inception to completion, with a focus on manufacturing processes, preferably within the chemical industry.
- Manage and coordinate IT operations across Viswaat Chemicals' plants and offices.
- Collaborate closely with Business Heads of Departments (HODs) to understand their requirements and ensure alignment of IT solutions with business objectives.
- Supervise internal IT personnel responsible for SAP B1, hardware, data center, networking, infrastructure, and security.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between various departments, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in SAP B1 implementation, with a minimum of 2 to 3 end-to-end projects completed from scratch in manufacturing environments, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with departments such as production, stores, accounts, and finance.
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
- Experience in supervising internal IT personnel and managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications in SAP B1 and project management (desired but not mandatory).
