Job Description
- Version Release Management,Branch Management,Collaboration & Communication,CI/CD Optimization , BitBucket , branching strategies,repository management,CI/CD Proficiency , Scripting , Agile , DevOps Experience in Release Management: Min 7+ yrs of experience managing software releases in a structured environment
- Version Control Expertise: Hands-on experience with Git / BitBucket, branching strategies, and repository management
- CI/CD Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Configuration & Deployment Tools: Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or related technologies
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating release processes
- Agile & DevOps Practices: Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and ITIL processes related to release management
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize release workflows
- Excellent Communication & Coordination: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployment automation
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test automation
- Prior experience in managing large-scale enterprise product releases
- Version Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across multiple products, ensuring timely and stable deployments
- Branch Management: Maintain and manage code repository branches, ensuring proper version control, merging strategies, and conflict resolution
- Environment Coordination: Oversee deployment across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency and reliability
- Release Governance: Define and enforce best practices for software release management, including documentation, rollback plans, and compliance checks
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to align release schedules with project timelines
- CI/CD Optimization: Enhance and streamline continuous integration and deployment pipelines for efficient release cycles
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential release risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth rollouts
- Automation & Tooling: Leverage automation tools to improve deployment processes and minimize manual interventions
- Post-Release Monitoring: Track release performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and implement improvements for future releases
