Job Description
Job Overview
This role is part of a professional team of multi-skilled performance testers and analysts responsible for all aspects of the stress, load and performance testing of projects within Quinnox clients on multi-platform, multi-client and multi-functional systems and supporting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Part of a single / multi location team
- Design, Prepare and Execute Medium / Complex test cases
- Daily Test Execution reporting
- Defect Logging / Analysis / Closure
- Convert and validate customer requirements into test requirements
- Review test artefacts for other Test Analyst and Junior test analysts.
- Test execution co-ordination for a test phase
- Knowledge share the testing skills to other team members
- Compliance to agreed standards and processes.
Experience & Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge required
Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Combination of S/W development and testing experience.
- Knowledge in more than one technology: Cloud, Web, Client Server.
- Knowledge of Insurance Industry
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in performance testing of complex, enterprise-level applications.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH Certification) is a plus.
Knowledge required in Security Testing
- Conducting comprehensive security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security code reviews, to identify and mitigate security risks in applications, systems, and networks.
- Developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for security testing activities and executing them according to established procedures and timelines.
- Demonstrating proficiency in using security testing tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing frameworks, code analysis tools, and network security monitoring solutions.
- Security Standards and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to security standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA) by evaluating systems against established security benchmarks and guidelines.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify, prioritize, and communicate security risks to stakeholders and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Participating in security incident response activities, including investigating security incidents, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Documenting security testing activities, findings, and recommendations in detailed reports and communicating them effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including management and clients.
