Job Description
JOB DISCRIPTION: -
- Receipt of materials Against invoices adhering to the checklist of materials and unloading of such deliveries safely in the correct areas.
- After receiving material to store, immediately inform Project manager & the purchase team
- Putting stock away in accordance with the stock rotation and proper allotment of material in racks. Receiving flammable material in a safe and controlled manner
Perform cyclic counts and routine stock checks and match with their stock register- Coordinating with purchase team to receive material in site. Highlight the team in case of change in make, difference in quantity / damage of materials, or return of excess materials
- Maintain the temporary office setup to small meetings of the project team. Exercise general control over all activities in Stores. A shared responsibility as part of the stores team to respond to emergency
- Maintain proper records of Inventory Inward and outward & Assets of the company, at project site.
- Issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes and take signatures on outward notes.
- Expensive material like Hard ware, Light fixtures, sanitary ware etc should be issued to authorized person from vendor after approval from Project Manager
- Responsible for timely submission of purchase bills to purchase team
- Get the stock certified by the Project manager, on a weekly basis
- Maintain writing boards & sample boards / kits, with proper and updated information.
- Return material to be recorded and sent to office / another project site in a well-maintained condition and update the purchase / admin team accordingly for records
