Job Description
Job Role: We are looking to hire people who are well versed in Tableau report development, enhance their skills on latest BI technologies and are ready to work in an extremely challenging, fun place to deliver results in very aggressive timeline Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understanding the data visualization requirements and business requirements, use various data sources to develop and publish Tableau workbooks that best suits business needs.
- Own the conceptualization, development, and delivery of suite of analytics reports and dashboards built for the Pharma clients.
- This is a technical position providing hands-on delivery role for data analytics projects working with a cross- functional team ensuring excellent delivery relationship.
- Performance tuning and monitoring of the Tableau dashboards, along with a strong focus on data quality monitoring.
- Provide data wrangling expertise for the analytics team, including but not limited to preparing and writing aggregated data to BI tool friendly data sources at scheduled frequency for faster reporting. Prepare Data Modelling, technical documentations as part of building and maintaining analytics products.
- Mentor & help team members in solving adhoc data requests and technical challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelors/masters in computer science/Data technology/statistics with a strong interest in BI Visualization (Tableau), data engineering. Proven track record of 2-4 years with extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics
- Design and Develop dashboards/reports in accordance with client requirements using Tableau 2020.0 or later with appealing visualizations
- Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks
- Identify and troubleshoot business process or data quality issues that show up in the reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems
- Experience in Data Blending, Data joining, LOD Calculation, Table level calculation
- Experience in Derived fields using calculated functions, Parameters, sets, Groups & Hierarchy
- Experience in various filters, advance charts and Top management KPIs
- Good to have experience using SQL to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Good to have understanding of Pharma domain
- Effective in working autonomously to get things done and taking the initiatives to anticipate needs of executive leadership
- As the stakeholders on the business side are based out of the US, they should be flexible to schedule meetings convenient to the respective timings
