Position Overview: As an Option Trader you will play a crucial role in executing trading strategies, managing risk, and optimizing profitability in the options market. This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Option Trading Execution: Execute options trades based on established strategies and market analysis. Monitor and manage real-time trading positions. Ensure timely and accurate execution of trades while minimizing transaction costs. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial markets, with a focus on options. Stay informed about market trends, economic indicators, and relevant news. Develop and implement trading strategies based on market conditions. Risk Management: Monitor and manage risk exposure associated with options trading. Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the firm's capital. . Work closely with risk management and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. Technology Utilization: Utilize trading platforms and technology tools to execute trades efficiently. Collaborate with the technology team to enhance and optimize trading systems. Stay updated on advancements in trading technology. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, technology, and risk management, to achieve trading objectives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss market developments and trading strategies. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trades and performance metrics. Generate regular reports on trading activities, P&L, and risk metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Proven experience as an Option Trader or in a similar role. Strong understanding of options markets, trading strategies, and risk management. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in using trading platforms and technology tools. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
