Position: Head of Construction Business - Residential Property

Location: Oman

Job Overview: As the Head of Construction Business for Residential Property in Oman, you will be responsible for leading the business development and execution of construction projects, managing contractors, overseeing tendering processes, managing teams and delivering profitable results. You will be responsible for managing the overall construction process, ensuring quality standards are met, and adhering to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the business development and execution of construction projects related to residential property, dealing with Government, contractors and tendering processes.
• Manage the entire construction process from planning and design to completion and handover.
• Ensure quality standards are met and adhere to project timelines and budgets.
• Lead and manage a team of construction professionals and contractors, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, suppliers, and other partners.
• Drive profitable growth by identifying new business opportunities and cost-saving measures, and managing the P&L of the construction business.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• At least 10-15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in delivering successful construction projects within budget and timelines.
• Excellent knowledge of government regulations, tendering processes, and construction industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
