4 + Years in Power BI Development

Qualification Bachelors Degree preferable in Commerce/ Bachelors in Technologies / MBA in Finance IT Qualification

Mandatory: Power BI, SQL, DAX & Advance Excel

Desired: Alteryx and Python

Role & Responsibilities:

Business Domain

• Support MI CMA team in creating Power BI Dashboard
• Identifying and reporting KPIs which can be presented in senior management presentation
• Should be a good team-player and should have a learning attitude. Should be able to perform in strict timelines and demanding assignments
• Candidate will have to play a key role in communicating with stakeholders on daily basis, understanding requirements, prepare user-story points/ documentation, collaborate with IT
• Should have experience in agile working

Technical Domain

• Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Power BI
• Solid, deep experience with data extract, transform and load (ETL) tools and data visualization tools
• Develop self-service models, data analytics using power BI service
• Design and deploy rich graphic visualizations with Drill Down and Drop down menu options and parameterized using Power BI
• Create dashboards and reports within Power BI based on written requirements
• Ability to interact with business users and understand their requirements
• Communicate complex topics to team through both written and oral communications
• Documentation and Power BI dashboard created
• Doing UAT -Testing and giving sign off on the new developments requested

Skill Set:

Business (Mandatory)

• Basic Understanding of Investment Banking Products

Power BI (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of M, DAX, SQL, MDX Queries
• Strong understanding on Power BI connectivity with different sources like Denodo, Oracle databases
• Create and Manage Power BI Dashboards from scratch as well as maintain/support existing dashboards
