Job Description
What does a great Windows AD Operations Support, Professional do?
The Windows Active Directory Professional is responsible for ensuring that all the User Access Management and Provisioning is carried out as per defined process. Working closely with Domain / Server Administration teams and End User Support teams, this role will process the user provisioning requests received through ServiceNow system and be able to quickly turn around the requests.
A high degree of collaboration with users, project team members and EUC Support team, and other Infrastructure teams is required to provide right level of agility within a defined operational process. The ideal candidate will follow operational tasks as defined step by step without any deviation and will be able to work effectively across a multitude of technical and non-technical groups in a diverse and talented team, continuously striving for excellence.
The role is required to be performed from Fiserv India offices providing overlap with US working hours, hence working from 2PM to 11PM (IST) shift for all 5 working days in a week.
What you will do:
- Day-to-day administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server, Domain Controllers, DNS, user authentication and other operational systems as needed
- Handle requests via through ServcieNow, and execute tasks as defined in the operating procedure
What you will need to have:
- Working experience of operating-system administration skills, active directory, GPO, AD Connect, AD Replication, DNS & DHCP
- Good knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure
- Working experience in AD InterForest Migration using Quest/ADMT tools, AD connect deployments, AD Upgradation projects
What would be great to have:
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certified
- Willingness and capability to quickly learn new technologies required for accomplishing project goals
- Troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Business or equivalent degree is desirable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows operational support areas
